Two Arrested in Fatal Pico Rivera Shooting

Police arrest two people in connection with the shooting.

A man and woman were arrested on suspicion of murder Friday in the fatal shooting of a man after an argument in Pico Rivera.

The shooting occurred about 6:30 p.m. in the area of Whittier Boulevard and Acacia Street, Deputy Ryan Rouzan of the Sheriff's Information Bureau said.

Investigators said the victim, a 27-year-old man, was on the street arguing with a man who was with a woman when someone shot him. The victim was found on the sidewalk suffering from a gunshot wound.

The victim, who was in his 20s, was taken to a hospital where he died, Rouzan said.

A 28-year-old man and a 47-year-old woman were arrested about two blocks away from the shooting. Deputies also recovered a handgun, deputies said.

Both suspect were booked on $1 million bond.
