Motorcyclist Killed in 210 Freeway Crash

Authorities close a stretch of the 210 Freeway for a crash investigation.

A motorcyclist was killed in a crash Tuesday on the Foothill (210) Freeway in Irwindale.
The crash on the westbound Foothill Freeway just west of Irwindale Avenue was reported about 10:50 p.m. Monday, according to the California Highway Patrol.
The victim, described only as a male, was declared dead at the scene, CHP Officer Alex Gonzalez said. His name was withheld pending family notification.
All westbound lanes except for the carpool lane were blocked until just after 2:30 a.m. to accommodate an investigation, the CHP reported.
