USPS Expands Service to Sundays for Holiday Season

Services include retail lobbies, after hours self-service kiosks and seven-day delivery.

Angelenos can now send their holiday packages through the U.S. Postal Service on Sundays, as the agency plans to stay open through the weekend during the holiday season.

USPS will be open on Sundays from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. through Dec. 21, according to a USPS news release.

The agency will also offer seven-day package delivery and after hours self-service kiosks, according to the statement. These kiosks allow customers to weigh mail, ship their packages and buy stamps with debit or credit cards.

The following post office locations in the greater Los Angeles area will offer retail lobby services on Sundays:

  • LAX: 9029 Airport Blvd.
  • Van Nuys: 15701 Sherman Way
  • Fullerton: 1350 East Chapman Ave.
  • Pasadena: 600 Lincoln Ave.
  • Santa Ana: 3101 West Sunflower Ave.
  • City of Industry: 15421 East Gale Ave.
  • Glendale: 313 East Broadway
  • Irvine: 15642 Sand Canyon Ave.
  • Buena Park: 7377 La Palma Ave.
  • Huntington Beach: 6771 Warner Ave.
  • Anaheim Hills: 5505 East Santa Ana Canyon Road
  • Woodland Hills: 22121 Clarendon St.
