Powerball Ticket Worth $480K Sold at Orange County Gas Station

A Powerball ticket is worth $480,287 Sunday, after the multi-state Powerball lottery machines picked it as a runnerup winner.

The ticket was sold by a Chevron gas station at the corner of Ball Road at State College Boulevard in Anaheim, lottery officials said Sunday. It bears winning numbers 5, 22, 45, 47, and 54.

But it missed the $204 million jackpot, by failing to have the red Powerball number: 3.

No ticket matching all six numbers was sold in Saturday night's drawing of the multi-state Powerball lottery, and the estimated jackpot for Wednesday's drawing will be $250 million.

The Powerball game is played in 44 states, the District of Columbia, Puerto Rico and U.S. Virgin Islands.
