Water Main Break Floods Streets in West LA

LA DWP responded to site of the break.

A water main break was flooding streets early Thursday morning in West Los Angeles, firefighters said.

The break was reported around 2 a.m. in the 2100 block of Holmby Avenue, flooding a residential neighborhood, according to Los Angeles Fire Department.

Firefighters said the main break was a line that was recently repaired.

The LADWP was responding to the water main break.

Firefighters were closing off the area while crews worked to repair the broken main line.

It was unclear how many customers or residents were affected by the water main break.
