One Critically Injured in Reseda Apartment Fire

One person was critically injured Friday morning in a fire at a Reseda apartment complex.

Firefighers responded at about 3 a.m. to the fire in the 17800 block of West Sherman Way and knocked down the flames in about an hour.

The injured person was taken to a hospital in critical condition.

Seven adults and seven children were displaced by the fire.

Five units were damaged or destroyed.

The fire started on the ground floor and spread to the second and third floors. Details about a cause of the fire were not immediately available.
