Subway Suspends Ties With Jared Fogle Amid Investigation

Subway announced Tuesday that it is suspending its relationship with spokesman Jared Fogle amid an investigation into Fogle, The Associated Press reported. Police searched Fogle's Indianapolis home Tuesday morning, NBC News reported. "Subway and Jared Fogle have mutually agreed to suspend their relationship due to the current investigation," a Subway spokesman said Tuesday. "Both Jared and Subway agree that this was the appropriate step to take.” An evidence storage truck was parked in the driveway, aerial footage from NBC affiliate WTHR showed. The raid follows the arrest of Russell Taylor, the executive director of Fogle's nonprofit organization, the Jared Foundation, on charges related to child pornography. Fogle has said he was shocked at the charges and his foundation was severing all ties to Taylor.
