Booze Crackdown: 132 Arrested at Dodger Home Opener

Don't say they didn't warn you.

Police tried to warn Dodger fans, but some of them just didn't listen.

Before Tuesday's home opener, police made it clear that alcohol would not be tolerated in the stadium parking lot.

"This year we're going to take a different approach to it. We're going to start the enforcement of no drinking and parking provisions right off the bat," LAPD Capt. Dave Lindsay told LAist.

On Wednesday, LAPD Capt. William Murphy told the LA Times that 132 people were arrested, most of them accused of drinking public.

Police also issued more than 50 traffic and parking citations, the Times reported.
