JetBlue was offering $4 flights between Burbank and Long Beach. The trip takes about 45 minutes.

By Wednesday afternoon, the airline announced that tickets have been sold out.

The 405 shutdown is part of the Mulholland Bridge demolition project.

The 53-hour closure between the 101 and 10 freeways begins Friday with ramps along the route at about 7 p.m. The road is expected to reopen Monday at 5 a.m.
