Gabriel Huerta es Reportero de Noticias para Noticiero Telemundo 52. Telemundo 52 es la estación de televisión insignia de la Costa Oeste de Telemundo, que ofrece casi 30 horas de noticias y programación local cada semana, más que cualquier otra estación en español en el Sur de California, incluyendo cobertura de noticias de última hora, pronósticos meteorológicos actualizados al minuto y entretenimiento.
Huerta se unió a Telemundo 52 Los Ángeles en 1993 como escritor independiente y en el 2014 fue nombrado reportero de noticias.
Con más de dos décadas de carrera periodística, Huerta ha sido otorgado cinco premios Emmy por reportajes como "Oxygen Bar", "La Otra Frontera", "Lake Contaminacion", "Remando contra la corriente" y " Veteranos Desterrados.
Huerta obtuvo su licenciatura en Ciencias de la Comunicación Social en la Universidad Autónoma Metropolitana de Xochimilco, en la ciudad de México.
