After a hard hat tour a week before opening, we were a little skeptical as to how The Market at Santa Monica Place would pull it all together for the opening on May 20. A follow-up visit on their one week anniversary over the weekend proved us wrong. Everyone from Piero Selvaggio’s (Valentino) casual Primi Al Mercato to the latest outpost of Rockenwagner seems to be up and running beautifully.
