Hollywood & Highland, and the Americana, get sparkly.

Is anyone planning a tree crawl, a la the classic pub crawl?

At this point it is advisable. This is what you do: Go to a coffee shop, get a cider or cocoa to go. And then go, to one of the multiple, merry-making, tree-light-ups that are going down around LA from Nov. 18-21.

Friday after Thanksgiving, your tree-lighting crown is definitely looking the taddest bit wobbly.

The Americana at Brand will make its tree all twinkly on Thursday, Nov. 18, with the usual festivities. Plus, Peabo Bryson! Mr. Bryson can sing a beautiful and moving carol like no one's business.

Hollywood & Highland's big seasonal to-do happens on Saturday, Nov. 20. Drake Bell, some Cirque artists, and many other performers will be entertaining revelers.

So. Americana, Hollywood & Highland, The CitadelSanta Monica, The Grove. Phew. Better get a few cocoas to go.
