Sellebrity: Gwyneth Paltrow Launches Lifestyle Site GOOP

So, Gwyneth Paltrow is now trying her hand as an online mogul with new lifestyle site GOOP: Nourish the Inner Aspect, which, currently features categories Make, Go, Get, Do, Be, and See, but has yet to add content. There is a note from Paltrow if you click on any of the icons:

"My life is good because I am not passive about it...Over the year, I have tried lots of different things. I have made lots of mistakes. But I have figured some things out in the process and I would like to share them with you. Whether you want a good place to eat in London, some advice on where to stay in Austin, the recipe I made up this week, or some thought from one of my sages, GOOP is a little bit of everything that makes up my life."

LVMH, Moet Hennessy will probably invest a gazillion dollars in Paltrow writing about her favorite spinach salad or chicken cattitore. And will we be paying attention? Yes, of course. It's really quite genius. Readers can live vicariously through Paltrow via GOOP, right at their fingertips! Except for the whole not being able to jet-set off to London thing, and the not having five figures to drop on a jaunt to Barneys, which might start getting a little old. We'll see. We can't see Paltrow doing a whole my-life-for-less section. Besides, that's really not the fantasy, is it?

FWD notes that this is just part of the expansion of the Paltrow brand, "who last night launched her PBS culinary show with Mario Batali, Spain...On the Road Again," and "made an appearance on Oprah to showcase her personal workouts with fitness guru Tracy Anderson, who recently launched a series of fitness DVDs."
