A police pursuit in Glendale ended with the pursuit vehicle crashing into a water hydrant Wednesday night.
The pursuit began at the Glendale Galleria at approximately 8:35 p.m. when the driver was flagged for driving recklessly, the Glendale Police Department said.
When police attempted to pull over the reckless driver, the vehicle sped away and a police pursuit ensued, authorities said. The chase ended a short time later when the pursuit vehicle crashed into a hydrant and a pole at a gas station near the corner of Pacific Avenue and Colorado Street, the Glendale PD said.
Authorities said two people were in the pursuit vehicle.
