Kids Ride Free on the Big Bear Scenic Sky Chair

Dreaming of a cooler clime this summer? Save money at Big Bear Mountain Resort.

GAZING AT THE MOUNTAINS... when sweat-making days arrive is something many of us do, even if we're just gazing with our mind's eye (or, yes, browsing photos of snow online). We long to go up, up, and further up, all to find a lower temperature, some pretty sights, and, with happy luck, some memory-making moments. Such moments will be a part of the Big Bear Mountain Resort summer, where the Scenic Sky Chair will continue to run. No, it won't be carting goggle-rocking people in skis, but it will be on the move for those visitors who want to take in some sweeping vistas, some mountain-soft sunshine, and, quite possibly, save some bucks. The bucks-saving end of things comes from the fact that the Scenic Sky Chair will have a sweet deal on for the summer, and it is this:

KIDS RIDE FREE... on the above-it-all attraction, if they're between the ages of 5 and 12. Good to know? A paying adult must be present, too. How many kids are covered if there is a paying grown-up along? Two. Also good to know? Kids under 4 may ride the Scenic Sky Chair, gratis, and also enjoy the Mountain Bike Park for free. And if you're truly seeking to be above it all on the Fourth of July, and hoping to find a great spot for enjoying fireworks, consider riding the Scenic Sky Chair up "... through the San Bernardino National Forest to the top of the mountain (8,200 feet)." For everything happening at this cool-down, go-up destination, ride your own sky chair, now, to the Big Bear Mountain Resort site.
