Caught on Camera: Sheriff's Detectives Arrest Vandalism Suspect

Sheriff's detectives arrested a 26-year-old Castaic resident Sunday on suspicion he vandalized the Santa Clarita sheriff's station, according to a sheriff's spokeswoman.

The vandalism appeared to be gibberish scrawled across the front of the station in red paint, based on a picture supplied by the sheriff's station.

Santa Clarita sheriff's spokeswoman Shirley Miller said the damage was done about 10:45 p.m. Thursday.

The arrestee, later identified as Sean Jamadar, was jailed on felony vandalism charges, Miller said.

Sheriff's detectives served a search warrant on Jamadar's home and allegedly recovered evidence linking him to the vandalism attack.

Jamadar was being held in lieu of $20,000 bail, according to Los Angeles County jail records. He is scheduled to appear in North Valley Superior Court, Dept. S in San Fernando at 8:30 a.m. Tuesday, according to jail records.
