Bob Hope himself would be proud.
In this day and age where going to the airport can make a traveler feel like a sheep in a slaughterhouse, Bob Hope Airport in Burbank is putting a little luxury back into flying by unveiling a Platinum Valet Service today.
It will allow express drop-off and guaranteed covered parking.
The upgraded service will cost $30 per day, which is $10 more than regular valet service at the airport.
"Our standard Gold Valet Service in front of the terminal at $20 per day has a devoted following, but some customers have told us they would like to have the option of choosing quicker service with a premium covered space, so we have put together a program to meet those needs," said Len Silvernail, the airport's director of Operations and Maintenance.
Platinum Valet Service will also include a dedicated parking attendant and baggage handler.
Standard valet service at Bob Hope Airport began in 1990 and the airport's valets handle more than 1,000 cars on an average day.
