A body was found Wednesday afternoon on the side of a brush-covered roadway in northwestern Los Angeles County, authorities said.
The grisly discovery was made near Frazier Mountain Park Road and Motocross Avenue in Gorman, according to the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department. It was reported shortly before 1 p.m. Wednesday.
The body was dumped on a roadway dotted with dry brush that parallels the 5 Freeway in Gorman, a mountain community in northwestern Los Angeles County.
Aerial footage showed the body wrapped in what appeared to be dark-colored plastic, though it wasn't clear if the body had been found that way.
Homicide investigators were called to the scene. No further details were available.
