Crews rescued a hiker who fell from a 40-foot cliff in the Angeles National Forest on Monday.
Firefighters responded to the 2200 block of Pinecrest Drive in Eaton Canyon near Altadena about 11:30 a.m., according to the Los Angeles County Fire Department.
The hiker reportedly fell about 40 feet near a waterfall, fire officials said.
The victim was airlifted from the area and taken to a hospital with unspecified injuries.
