A man was killed early Friday in a big rig crash on a freeway in Lynwood.
The crash was reported to the California Highway Patrol as an overturned big rig at 1:33 a.m. on the westbound Glen Anderson (105) Freeway transition to the northbound Long Beach (710) Freeway, said CHP Officer Dion Conley.
The driver was pronounced dead at the scene, Conley said. No other vehicles were believed to be involved.
The transition road was closed to move the truck and was reopened by 4 a.m. The cause of the crash was under investigation.
