Grand Terrace High School Students Evacuated Due to Threat Hoax

Students were evacuated at a Southern California high school Tuesday after the school receive what authorities described as a threat hoax.

Students at Grand Terrace High School, about 60 miles east of downtown Los Angeles in San Bernardino County, were evacuated onto the school's athletic fields. They were allowed to return to class after a search of the building, according to the San Bernardino County Sheriff's Department.

The threat report was determined to be a hoax, according to the department. No suspicious items were found during the campus search.
