Three robbers were captured on surveillance video when they held a security guard at gunpoint and took his weapon during a heist at a Harbor City liquor store.
The heist occurred at about 7 p.m. Friday at the store in the 1200 block of Pacific Coast Highway (map).
Surveillance video showed the security guard standing near the front entrance when three men entered the store with guns drawn. They immediately confronted the guard -- one man can be see restraining the guard's arm behind his back as another assailant holds a gun to the man's head.
The men took the guard's weapon and removed cash from the store's register before leaving, according to a statement from the Los Angeles Police Department.
No injuries were reported. Authorities have not determined whether the men left on foot or in a vehicle.
