LOS ANGELES -- A non-injury fire broke out in South Los Angeles on Wednesday inside a garage extending into a backhouse.
The blaze at Hillcrest Drive and West 54th Street occurred about midnight and was knocked down by Los Angeles City firefighters in roughly 15 minutes, according an RMG News camera crew.
A man living in the backhouse escaped without injury, RMG reported.
The cause of the fire was under investigation.
