Police shot and killed a man who allegedly stabbed his brother Friday night in a West Covina home.
The man was shot in the area of Valley Boulevard and Nogales Street at 8:10 p.m, a Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department spokesman said. The man allegedly stabbed his brother when he tried to stop him leaving their apartment with a knife, officials said.
The stabbing victim suffered stab wounds, but is expected to survive.
The West Covina Police Department officers involved in the shooting were not injured.
An investigation into the incident is ongoing.
