Police Search For Serial Flasher in El Segundo

On Friday, March 13, 2009 at approximately 2:45 PM, a man exposed himself to three female adolescents in the 300 block of west Mariposa Avenue, in the City of El Segundo, said El Segundo police.  As the juveniles were walking on Mariposa Avenue, the suspect drove up, stopped his vehicle in front of them and exited the car. The suspect lowered his shorts and exposed himself to the juveniles, then re-entered his car and drove away southbound on Concord Street. The suspect vehicle is described as a white, four door subcompact.

The suspect is believed to have committed similar acts on November 6, 2008 at 7:45 AM, in the alley north of the 800 block of Grand Avenue, and on January 8, 2009 at 7:35 AM, in the alley east of the 400 block of Standard Street, said police.  The suspect is described as a male, white, adult, 20 to 25 years old, 6’0” to 6’2”, 200 lbs. to 220 lbs., muscular build with short blond hair.  During each incident, the suspect was wearing a long or short sleeved t-shirt and dark athletic type shorts. On two occasions he was wearing a blue/white/green striped baseball type hat.

On November 6th, the suspect's vehicle was described as a newer model, four door car, dark blue in color, said police.  The vehicle used during the January incident was described as a full-sized four door car, white in color.  The El Segundo Police Department requests the public’s assistance in identifying this suspect.
