A Halloween reveler was burned while partying at the massive West Hollywood Carnaval Thursday night, according to fire officials.
The circumstances surrounding the incident were not immediately available. It happened about 10:25 p.m.
The victim was transported in an ambulance from the jammed West Hollywood streets, home to one of the world's largest Halloween parties, according to a Los Angeles Fire Department official.
Emergency vehicles were seen gathered near Santa Monica and La Cienaga boulevards, about a block away from a Carnaval stage.
Nearly half a million people were expected to descend on West Hollywood for Thursday night's festivies.
