A woman in an office building was struck Wednesday afternoon by a car that crashed into her workplace, according to the Los Angles Fire Department.
And elderly couple was trying to maneuver their car into a U-turn, when the driver hit gas by mistake.
The vehicle crashed through a planter and three rooms at an office building, located at 21820 Burbank Blvd. in Woodland Hills.
A 56-year-old woman at a desk suffered minor injuries and was hospitalized. The couple was apparently not injured, according to LAFD.
"It sounded like an explosion. It hit the side of the building, and then I saw the interior wall go, and the next thing I know, I was sliding, flying across the room," the woman said.
