The U.S. Forest Service has just announced that the preliminary cause of the 4,824-acre Marek fire in the Lake View Terrace area is "vehicle-related."
The fire started at the bottom of a small canyon about a half-mile off Little Tujunga Road near the Marek Truck Trail on Sunday.
Other details on the cause of the fire will be released "upon completion of the investigation," the Forest Service announced.
