A motorcyclist was killed in a hit-and-run collision in South Los Angeles on Saturday night, police said.
The crash occurred just after 9:30 p.m. near the intersection of 52nd Street and Vermont Avenue, according to the Los Angeles Police Department.
Police said a man riding a motorcycle was found unresponsive after the driver of a car had apparently struck him and left the scene.
The man was pronounced dead at the scene.
No description of the vehicle or suspect were available.
