Meghan Trainor has canceled her tour.
The 21-year-old singer, known for hits like "All About That Bass," "Lips Are Movin" and "Dear Future Husband," announced the news via Instagram Tuesday. "To all my fans - I was being careful and taking precautions, but I have hemorrhaged my vocal cord again. I got bronchitis &have been coughing a lot &that pushed it over the edge. Sadly, I will need to cancel the remainder of my tour and get surgery to finally fix this once and for all. I am devastated, scared, and so sorry," Trainor wrote.
"I LOVE touring and seeing your beautiful faces every night. I am determined to do what it takes to get better and come back around stronger than ever," she added. "I love you, and thank you for all of your understanding, love and support."
Trainor sang at the Mix 104.1 Beach House Concert bash in Cape Cod, Mass., Friday. She has been forced to cancel three of her "MTrain" tour concerts this summer, including a performance at the Erie County Fair in Hamburg, New York.
The singer also made sure to publicly apologize to Charlie Puth and Life of Dillon via Instagram Tuesday. "I'm sorry to my amazing openers that we had to cut it short. @charlieputh @lifeofdillon you guys put on great shows every night with big smiles and I will be forever grateful that you were a part of this experience, even though it was cut too soon," she wrote. "Thank you and your teams for everything." Life of Dillon responded and offered support via Twitter, writing, "So gutted this amazing tour has come to an end! Mad love to @Meghan_Trainor YOU ROCK!"
Last month, Trainor was put on "complete vocal rest" due to a hemorrhage of her vocal cords; her July 3 concert in New Jersey and a July 4 concert in Connecticut were postponed. "I promise I will make it up to my Megatronz," she said at the time. "I have never missed a tour date before so this is killing me. I love you all very much and want to get healed quickly so I can show you this amazing tour we've been working on. I am truly sorry to everyone who bought tickets and made travel plans."
