Iran Threatens to Deploy Warships to US Coast

Iran said Tuesday they may send military war ships close the the United States' Atlantic coast, a threat that is putting U.S. officials on edge. "Like the arrogant powers that are present near our marine borders, we will also have a powerful presence close to American marine borders," Iranian head of the Navy, Rear Admiral Habibollah Sayyari said, according to state noes agency IRNA. He gave no indication when a deployment would occur. The U.S. and Israel have not ruled out military action if diplomatic talks fails to stop Iran from building nuclear weapons. The country denies the allegations they are building atomic bombs.
