Police are searching for a man who exposed himself to a woman and attempted to get her into his car in Santa Fe Springs.
A 57-year-old woman was walking in an alley near Pioneer Boulevard north of Houghton Avenue at about 7:45 a.m. on July 5 when a man approached her and asked her to come to his vehicle, which Whittier police described as a black SUV that was possibly a Ford Explorer. The man grabbed her wrist and tried pulling her toward the driver's side door before making several salacious comments to her and exposed himself, police said.
The woman was able to pull away from him and run away with only minor abrasions to her wrist, and the man was seen leaving the area north of Pioneer Boulevard.
The man was described as 30 to 35 years old and Latino with a medium build, short combed back hair and clean shaven. Authorities also released a sketch of the subject.
