In celebration of the Los Angeles Dodgers competing in the 2017 World Series, the Inland Valley Humane Society & SPCA in Pomona is offering a special discount on adoption fees for dogs until the sporting event is over.
The promotion, called Dodger Dogs, will decrease the $140 adoption fee to just $10 in an effort to find loving homes for the pups.
There are around 200 dogs currently available for adoption at the animal shelter. All available pets can be seen here.
The promotion will be valid every day of the World Series - except Sunday - from 10 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.
The Dodgers defeated the Houston Astros 3-1 during Game 1 on Tuesday and the Astros evened the series 7-6 during Game 2 on Wednesday.
Game 3 will be on Friday, Oct. 27, 2017 on the Astros' turf, Minute Maid Park.
