Pursuit Ends in Crash, Injuring Innocent Motorist

An innocent motorist was hospitalized after a police pursuit ended in a crash in Corona Friday night.

Police began chasing the stolen vehicle at around 7:30 p.m. It wound through freeways and side streets until it ended in a crash at Border Avenue and West 10th Street.

The high-speed pursuit traveled on streets in and around Corona. The car blew through several stop signs.

A 60-year-old man driving a silver vehicle was hospitalized with minor injuries.

The pursuit driver, a 29-year-old male Corona resident, is on probation for grand theft auto, police said.

The car was stolen out of Riverside county.
