Groper Caught on Camera Wanted in Riverside Attack

Police sought the public's help Friday to find a man suspected of groping a woman.

The incident took place in a parking lot outside a medical building in the 6800 block of Magnolia Avenue in Riverside on April 23.

The man, wearing a red shirt, is seen getting out of his black Mercedes-Benz sedan. Police say the man followed the woman before grabbing her buttocks and disappearing. He was described as in his 20s, 5 foot 6 and weighing around 140 pounds.

He has brown hair and was wearing a black hat, red shirt, blue jeans and dark sunglasses.

"We're hoping that by putting it out now, maybe someone sees not just what he was wearing but his mannerisms, how he's walking, how he sprints to the car," said Ryan Railsback, a Riverside Police Department spokesman.

Police are asking that anyone else who believes they may have been attacked by this man come forward.
