At least three people were hospitalized in critical condition after a six-vehicle crash that closed lanes early Monday on the northbound 405 Freeway in Sherman Oaks.
One person was ejected from a vehicle during the crash.
The crash occurred on the northbound 405 Freeway at the 101 Freeway connector. Lanes were closed near Sepulveda Boulevard for debris cleanup and the crash investigation.
The California Highway Patrol set up flares directing cars to the Skirball Center Drive exit at 3 a.m. before the height of the morning drive.
