Tomlinson Hosts Star Studded Golf Classic

LaDainian Tomlinson was all smiles on Friday, and it had nothing to do with football.  He was hosting his annual golf classic with all the proceeds going to his Touching Lives Foundation.

"I just enjoy giving back to our community," said Tomlinson.

It wasn't long ago that football fans were wondering if LT would be playing for the Chargers next season.  He re-worked his contract to stay in San Diego, and is glad he did.  The turnout at his golf tournament is proof.   A number of Chargers showed up to help raise money for his charity.

Tomlinson, who was hurt at the end of last season, says he's feeling fine now.

"The off-season has been great, but it's flying by," the Chargers running back said.

He's anxious to see who they take in the NFL draft next weekend.  Tomlinson remembers sweating it out on draft day.

"I'm glad Cleveland passed on me, and Cincinnati," said Tomlinson. "Look at this weather, I didn't want to be in Ohio right now."
