Walmart Recalls Rival Griddles Over Shock Hazard

Walmart has recalled about 330,000 electronic griddles due to a shock hazard, according to the Consumer Product Safety Commission.

The recall involves Rival brand electric griddles with a model number XJ-14207. The griddles were made in China and sold exclusively in Walmart stores nationwide during the last half of 2015.

The CPSC report said the heating element can crack and water may get inside, which poses a shock hazard when the griddle is plugged in.

If you have one of the effected griddles, you should immediately unplug it and return it to the store for a full refund.

No injuries have been reported.
