A 20-year-old woman is in grave condition and a 55-year-old man suffered non-life threatening burn injuries from a house fire Sunday morning in the Vermont Square community of Los Angeles.

Firefighters dispatched at 1:18 a.m. to 730 W. 52nd Place had the fire out within 24 minutes of their arrival, said Margaret Stewart of the Los Angeles Fire Department.
