Police were searching Friday for a man who attacked a woman during a home invasion robbery in West Los Angeles, police said.
The attack happened at 8:43 p.m. in the 14400 block of Sunset Boulevard, officials said.
A masked man in his 20s was at the home when the female resident came home, police said.
He assaulted her with an object before robbing her and running away.
The woman's condition was not immediately known.
The only description police had was the man was heavy set and was wearing a colorful mask.
