Bark Avenue Foundation is an animal welfare organization. Our mission is to empower pet parents and local communities to reduce abandoned animal populations through spay/neuter, pet retention & reclamation, and education.
Through our life saving programs, providing free and low-cost spay/neuter clinics in under-served communities, and Humane Education in partnership with LA's BEST, we work together to prevent pet homelessness, overpopulation and pets entering the already over-crowded shelter system, and we teach the next generation of pet parents’ kindness, compassion, respect, problem-solving, healthy connections, a connection to one’s empathetic emotions and responsible pet guardianship.
