Years before “Bridgerton” and the Regency-era fashion moment it helped inspire, director Emma Holly Jones was dreaming of an early 19th century romantic comedy with a diverse cast.

After cancellations prompted by COVID-19 infections within the production, the hit musical “Hamilton” will resume performances Wednesday at the Hollywood Pantages Theatre.

The hit show will return to the Hollywood Pantages Theatre stage later in January 2022.
