LA Live throws a major recycling event on Monday, Nov. 15 as part of America Recycles Day.

Is it verboten to talk about 7 a.m. on a Monday when Friday hasn't yet quite got its start, and the weekend is still to come?

Well, maybe, though we're working harder to give Mondays a fair shake (hi, uphill battle). But when 7 a.m. on a Monday involves something important it is acceptable to talk about it on a Friday, even necessary.

America Recycles Day happens in 2010 on Monday, Nov. 15. We're all recycling and putting things in the appropriate bins every day of the year, but come ARD, you'll want to haul in that monitor and old phones. LA Live is setting up a recycling drop-off from 7 a.m. to 7:30 p.m. on Nov. 15, and there's a whole slew of stufferie they'll be accepting. Monitors and phones and VCRs and microwaves and other e-waste items. The list is long (note that items in the picture above aren't on the LA Live list, they're part of the America Recycles push).
