Easter weekend at the Panorama Baptist Church will be a celebration of religion and anniversary, as the church celebrates 60 years.

Church members will stage three days of performance, using multimedia to tell the story of the Stations of the Cross.

"It's basically members of the church who are getting together. All volunteer-based -- from the tech team to the actors to the soloists," said John Polite, pastor at the Panorama Baptist Church.

"In between the different stages, we may show some video, a dance, or a musical piece. So it's really multimedia, a chance to appeal to all the senses," said Polite.

It isn't the first time the church has put together something like this. Last year, they presented a play with a modern approach to stories from the Bible.

"I really like using the creative side, and I really think church is a great place to do that. It's something we do regularly. Our congregation gets really excited, and I think people really enjoy seeing the story told in a variety of ways," said Polite.

The Easter performance starts Friday, April 2 at 7 p.m., Saturday at 7 p.m.; and end with Easter celebration Sunday.
