Could it have been just under a year ago that all-around-triple-threater Kristin Chenoweth was hanging out with the Oscar Meyer Weinermobile at the Grove?
We suppose we should call her a quadruple-threater really, seeing as how she does just fine with the singing, dancing, acting, and helping out of fine causes, too. Or maybe we'll dub her a quintuple threat after Friday, Dec. 31 when she takes the Walt Disney Concert Hall stage for not one but two concerts.
So. Singer, dancer, actor, friend to the Oscar Meyer Weinermobile (and helper of fine causes), and a performer with pipes big enough to take on one of our city's, and the planet's, great venues.
There's an early show, for those folks who have a midnight date elsewhere. And there's a 10:30 p.m. show, for those who want to jump into 2011 inside a beautiful Gehry-esque spaceship.
By the by, music from "Glee" is promised, in addition to "Wicked." So: She's a singer, dancer, actor, friend to the Oscar Meyer Weinermobile (and helper of fine causes), big-piped performer, and star of hot TV and stage properties. Oh, and there was "Pushing Daisies," too. Pretty much your basic 12-ruple threat.
