Los Angeles Derby Dolls 2008 Championships

Two rough-and-tumble roller clubs with stellar records, save one loss each -- to the other team. A rematch means fireworks, and that's exactly what fans are looking for Saturday night when the Tough Cookie and the Sirens hook their chin straps and blaze onto the Doll House rink.

But this is no mere rematch or ho-hum settling of scores. The Sirens and the Tough Cookies are going for the big crown, the 2008 Championships, and it'll be a victory made sweeter by the fact that this is the first season at the Doll House, the special banked-track rink the Derby Dolls had built for their matches. Whoever nabs the title will be able to claim that first-season crown forever. Sweet.

Skaters for the Sirens include Haught Wheels, Raggedy Annarchy, Mila Minute, and Ryder Hard, while the Tough Cookies boast Gori Spelling, Kelly Kaboom, Markie D. Sod, and Sniperella. Prepare to shout up a storm during the matches, and rock out to bands like The Abe Lincoln Story, 50 Cent Haircut, and Fight Everyone the rest of the night.
