BEVERLY HILLS: If Absolut thinks Los Angeles tastes like blueberry, acai berry, acerola and pomegranate, what does Crustacean think Beverly Hills tastes like? "Fresh pomegranate juice mingled with fresh tangerine slices, peach-infused vodka and Cointreau orange liqueur." That's The Beverly, a drink dedicated to Bev Hills via Crustacean's resident bartender, kind of like the Singapore Sling or a Manhattan. The drink supposedly will be served at other venues around town, but for some reason we can't get "Gretchen, stop trying to make 'fetch' happen!" out of our head. CULVER CITY: How many more descriptives does Rush Street need? Per a press release, "your new favorite Culver City sports bar, night club, brunch spot, lunch spot, dinner spot and monthly live karaoke hang-out" will have brats and beer ($10) for Sunday football. [Eater Inbox]

LAUNCHED: Kind of a cross between Facebook and AllRecipes.com, CookEatShare connects home cooks with professional chefs from around the country to share tips, recipes, and general culinary advice. Campanile's Mark Peel, mixologist Tony Abou-Ganim, Nate Appleman from SF's A-16, and Iron Chef Michael Symon are just some of the industry people sharing their knowledge. [EaterWire]
