    Madame Tussauds
A Marvel 4D theater -- which includes "the largest line-up of Marvel figures" -- debuted at the Las Vegas Madame Tussauds on Wednesday, Nov. 20.

IF YOU HEARD... that the Avengers were arriving in Las Vegas, where would you picture them? Would you see Iron Man alighting atop the Stratosphere? Or Thor put down his hammer in the middle of the Bellagio fountains (thus creating a wave to defeat whatever villain was trying to take over the Strip)? And could Captain America throw his shield the length of Fremont Street? There are several Sin-City-riffic storylines to mined, and maybe those minds that work on The Avengers and all Marvel tales will be inspired. Because of this: Madame Tussauds at The Venetian just debuted its new "fully immersive Marvel 4D theater" on Wednesday, Nov. 20.

JUST DIDN"T DEBUT IT... in fact, but had no less than the great Stan Lee, the grand dean of all Marvel-o-nia, to do the ribbon-cutting honors. It's a big deal for Marvel mavens, because the gathering of wax figures representing the icons of the comic book universe are all in one room. Plus? A 360-degree animated "4D cinema attraction" to boot, where, yes, the superheroes "save Las Vegas." Oh, dear Las Vegas, you never do anything halfway, do you? Bravo.

SPEAKING OF BOOT: The new Marvel-focused feature comes on the heels of a full-scale Madame Tussauds renovation. And your Tussauds ticket gets you into the Marvel movie, which is a tight but action-packed ten minutes. Surely you want to see how the team'll unite to protect the sparkliest stretch of city in all the land? And then have your picture taken with some figures following the show? Count this on being the newest stop of cross-country road-trippers on their way to Comic-Con each summer.
