NBC4's legendary Weathercaster Fritz Coleman, who has been with the station for more than 35 years, received an honorary doctorate degree in public service from Woodbury University on May 11, 2019 in Burbank.
Coleman was the commencement speaker to the graduating class of 2019 and spoke at length about the fulfillment he receives serving the community.
