Two juveniles have been arrested in connection with the shooting death of a man last month in Palmdale.
The 17-year-olds, a male and a female, were taken into custody Wednesday in connection with the slaying of Luis Amela, a Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department spokesman said.
Both are believed to have either been involved with the killing, or assisted the person who shot the victim.
They were booked at Palmdale Sheriff’s Station and are to appear at Sylmar Juvenile Court on Thursday.
Amela was gunned down on March 31. The shooter has yet to be caught, and the investigation is ongoing.
